History Retype (Grand type recorder)is a project self-initiated by Omar Aqil, a designer and illustrator from Lahore, Pakistan. The idea behind this piece wast to illustrate the evolution of typography, in this case with a typewriter montage done in 3D. The colors and style is spot on, giving the composition a beautiful retro feeling.

I love to do typography experiments so this time I chose history’s H (Alphabet). Basically I am trying to show the evolution of history preservation process.
