With a career spanning over 25 years, the firm formed by Morten Schmidt, Bjarne Hammer and John F. Lassen is one of the most recognized and rewarded in Scandinavia for innovation and sustainable concepts on their projects.

Founded in 1986 in Aarhus, Denmark, by the architects Morten Schmidt, Bjarne Hammer and John F. Lassen, schmidt hammer lassen office architects currently has a team of 140 people, increasing the number of partners with the join of Kim Holst Jensen and Kristian Ahlmark.

The office develops its projects with concepts in the roots of the tradition of Scandinavian architecture, based on democracy, welfare, aesthetics, light, sustainability and social responsibility. With over 25 years of experience, schmidt hammer lassen architects, now have offices in Aarhus, Copenhagen, London and Shanghai.
