Working together since 1979, Benthem and Crouwel have a nice repertoire of cultural, educational and public buildings in several cities in the Netherlands.
Founded in 1979 by architect Jan Benthem and Mels Crouwel, the Benthem Crouwel Architects office, has conducted several projects in the Netherlands, with its emphasis on cultural projects and public buildings. They work very well the inclusion of their buildings, relating perfectly with the surroundings, whether urban or open areas.

Present in their projects imposing shapes, working with wisdom the combination of materials and textures. Today, the office also has the members Marcel Blom, Joost Vos, Marten Wassmann and Markus Sporer, divided between two offices in the cities of Aachen and Amsterdam.
