Many of us have multiple devices, maybe an iPad for every room and a couple of iPhones. So Griffin has produced the PowerDock 5, a USB-device that can charge up to five iPads simultaneously. Charging your variety of devices just got easier. It’s priced at $100 and will be available in Spring. In other Griffin news, the company is putting out a new PowerBlock plug adapter and PowerJolt car charger with Griffin’s ChargeSensor technology. Marc Ecko designed this amazing Reversible Chewbacca Jacket. It’s all hair and fur and Wookie love on the one side replica of Chewbacca, and thrift store chic on the other. Air Copy: mobile scanner for smartphones, tablets and laptops
Ion’s Air Copy has just stepped into the wireless mobile scanner arena, and it brings support for slinging scanned documents and photos as big as size A4 to Android, iOS, Windows 8 and OS X devices via WiFi. Once documents are scanned, they’re saved as high-resolution 300 DPI JPEG files to the connected hardware. A free app available for the gadget gives users a real-time preview of what’s being scanned. Samsung NX300 3D Mirrorless Camera
The new Samsung NX300 camera is equipped with a 20.3-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, and has been designed to provide users with the ability to capture 3D images and footage. To capture images the Samsung NX300 uses a hybrid autofocus system that combines phase and contrast detection, offering users 105 points of phase AF detection and 247 points of contrast detection, says Samsung.
“The compact NX300 makes it simple for anyone to achieve pro-like and impressive pictures easily with minimal technical knowledge or time spent adjusting parameters. Using the camera’s Smart Mode, users can choose from 14 different settings, such as Creative Shot, Landscape, Light Trace or Action Freeze which will automatically adjust parameters such as aperture and shutter speed in order to obtain the best shot possible for the desired situation. The NX300 also includes i-Depth, an easy and simple way to adjust the depth of an image using the NX Series’ unique i-Function system, which enables users to m dify camera parameters using the lens itself, adjusting the image without ever having to move off target.”
On the rear of the camera Samsung has fitted a 3.31-inch AMOLED display, and other features include the ability to capture photographic bursts of 8.6 shots each second, with an ISO range with a maximum of 25600,with video support for 1080p recording at 60 frames per second. (at Geeky Gadgets)
